The first song we wrote for the band!
Its about fantasy but specifically Nintendo's "Legend Of Zelda" series about all those things you do for that princess, whomever she may be. Not much of a comedy song, but a Zelda fan might enjoy it, we certainly do! :D

Fun bit of Shell trivia: This was the very first original song we played as a band! 
*for those of you playing at home, the referance to the giant killer bees is actually the giant wasps from s04e07 "the unicorn and the wasp" (yep ...im a nerd) and obviously not bees. Since we mainly play to non-whovians i needed an absurd attention grabber to start off with ...and nothing nice rhymed with "wasps" :P

A little song about how fickle Mario's nobel steed "Yoshi" can get when faced with the mere touch of any adversary. Anyone who's played SMBW will get what i mean...
This was my first ever attempt at video game rock! (really, i just wanted to play the mario theme...)

Hey internet peoples! We are Blue Turtle Shell, a melbourne based 2 piece guy/girl pop-culture (nerd) rock sensation!
We've just finished our first EP "Blue Version" and are currently working on the follow up "Red Version" (do i detect some sort of pokemon reference..? :P)
All our stuff is arranged/written by us and recorded at Clara St. Studios (AKA Homan's Bedroom...) using DI and one lonley SM58 with Cubase.
But really, as a comedy-ish acoustic novelty band, we're much better to see/hear live! right now we're earning some EXP playing every open mic we can find.
