It was a classic beginning for me....
Boy gets out pots and pans and wood spoons and creates a drum kit on the kitchen floor at 6 years old. Cool mom recognizes what's going on and buys boy a drum kit for Christmas…the world suddenly opens up and everything changes.

The world opened even further for me, listening to bands like Iron Butterfly and Led Zeppelin. The more I listened to music, the more I became attuned to a whole new level of musicality that my friends didn't seem to understand. Even at 13 years old I was jamming with my best friend, writing solely guitar/drum songs, similar to what popular bands like The Black Keys and The White Stripes have done in the past few years. I do 2 different shows. "A Day at the Beach" (monthly) is a 1-hour show featuring new surf music releases.  "The Clint Beachwood Show" (weekly) a 3-hour program, features 1960s and modern surf music plus non-surf songs... instrumentals & vocals.

Seafoam Tsunami is a 3-piece instrumental surf rock band from Akron, Ohio. The band was formed by guitarist Mike Juno, who studied the music of early surf rock bands before writing ST's original songs. His interest in surf rock partly came from living and surfing on both U.S. coasts. The band formed in 2017 when Mike Juno joined forces with Joe Middleton, a lifelong drummer who studied music theory and performed in percussion groups and touring rock bands. Bassist Ryan Baker, the band's newest addition, is a veteran of Northeast Ohio's music scene, and he plays, and teaches, the electric bass and upright bass. Together, the band plays a set of original songs that draw from the broad spectrum of the instro surf rock genre- the old, the new, the renowned, and the cult classics. Since 2017, they have been bringing the stoke, the reverb, and the energy to make any occasion surf rock style.
