Hello and welcome to ITB, and to kick this new year off we have a real treat for you. We’re thrilled to share this vinyl only exclusive guest mix from our friend and one of Brazils finest DJs and producers D sounds. This is his NY gift to you guys, and in his words;

“I employed a pair of Pioneer PLX 500 turntables along with the DMJ 350 mixer, crafting a unique sonic experience. The vinyl records that accompany each beat were carefully sourced from European stores, exclusively for this show, ensuring a special and authentic musical selection.

All of this work was captured with passion and dedication in my studio in the vibrant city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. I hope that the combination of cutting-edge technology and handpicked vinyl, translates into a memorable auditory experience for all of you.”

Is This Balearic? - EXCLUSIVE Guest Mix - D Sounds New Year vinyl only mix

BlueAzure is the pseudonym of producer Jamie Bridle. Based in the South West of the UK, his music blends elements of dance, chill-out, Balearica and nu-disco, whilst retaining an underlying current of melody.

Signed to labels such as Nang and Real Balearic, his current passion project is the eclectic and non-genre specific music show 'Is This Balearic?'.

He is also one-third of the musical project ‘Editoric’ which started life at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios, alongside lifelong friend Tim James and Toronto-based artist and musician Lavinia Maria.

João Cláudio fell in love with dance music and electronic music when he was a child, influenced by his parents' 70's and 80's vinyl records. 

As a teenager, he started buying his own CDs, mixing them for his friends. 

At 24, after graduating in Business Administration, he moved to Miami. 

After two years of amazing experiences, he returned to Brazil and established himself as an entrepreneur in Minas Gerais state. 

Today João Cláudio, aka D Sounds, decided to show his musical style in his hometown, Belo Horizonte.
