Mandy Lemons, winner of the 2015 Emissaries of Memphis Music Peoples Choice Award, and Sturgis Nikides (who recorded and toured with legendary Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer John Cale of The Velvet Underground) - also known as Low Society - are blazing new trails on the stomping grounds of Blues Roots and Americana music. Texas Blues, Memphis Rock 'N Soul and a healthy dose of New York attitude help define the sound and spirit of our music. Our recordings have received critical acclaim world-wide, including numerous Best Of lists. We have placed on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Blues & Top 50 Blues-Rock Album Charts as well as the prestigious Living Blues Magazine Top 25 Radio Chart. Sirius XM B.B. Kings Bluesville has had our music in rotation since the beginning of 2015 with our second album 'You Can't Keep A Good Woman Down', and continued with our third release, 'Sanctified', which was recorded in Belgium and Memphis in 2017. Our 4th album is currently in production, and will see the light of day this summer!!

I can think of no other better way to communicate how I feel than through the simplicity of song. The craft of songwriting has been in my blood since I was a little child - at first just silly little charades, but eventually I had much to say. These songs were recorded at Millbrook Sound Studios in New York with Paul Orofino as the engineer. Guitar work is shared between Tommy Byrnes (Billy Joel, Enrique Iglesias) and Frank Carillo (Peter Frampton, Carly Simon). Hope you enjoy the tunes!
