As with his previous releases, Wisdom was written, produced and recorded by Scott Woodruff, a self-taught musician, at Stick Figure-owned Great Stone Studios in Oakland, CA, former home of Green Day.
 
Wisdom is Stick Figure’s seventh album and follows the unprecedented success of 2019’s World on Fire, which peaked at number 34 on the Billboard Top 200, #6 overall Top albums, #1 Independent, and #1 Reggae album. World on Fire has sold over 300,000 copies including streaming equivalents, according to Nielsen soundscan data. Die Ursprünge der Band SOULFIELD liegen im kleinen Ort Seelenfeld in Petershagen/NRW. Seit Juli 2016 finden die Proben in Minden statt.

Wir richten uns nicht nach einem bestimmten Musikstil, so dass wir die Art unserer Musik eher dem Hard-Rock/Progressive- Rock zurechnen würden.

Auch wenn für uns der Spaß am Gestalten und das Spielen der Musik im Vordergrund stehen, versuchen wir doch eher ernstzunehmende Themen anzusprechen. 

Um ein möglichst breites Publikum zu erreichen, sind unsere Texte ausschließlich in englischer Sprache gehalten.


The origins of the band SOULFIELD lie in the small town of Seelenfeld (german for Soulfield) in Petershagen / NRW. Since July 2016 the rehearsals take place in Minden.

We're not following a specific style of music, so we'd rather attribute the nature of our music to Hard Rock / Progressive Rock.

Even if the fun of designing and playing music is in the foreground for us, we try to address more serious topics.

To reach the widest possible audience, our texts are exclusively in English.

Embarking on his journey as a DJ and producer from his early teens, Corey James' first record signing quickly led to another, snowballing into an impressive resume that now includes some of the most esteemed labels in modern-day dance music: Size, Axtone, Armada, STMPD, Club Bad and Protocol. 

James has released multiple high-profile collaborations, such as 'The Underground (House of God) with Steve Angello,  'Orinoco' with Thomas Gold, 'Bird Flu' with Tom Staar and 'Another Storm' with Third Party, as well as official remixes for David Guetta and Steve Angello and a body of solo material - all of which received critical acclaim by DJs and fans alike.

Since then, he has amassed millions of streams across streaming platforms and regularly positioned himself on 1001Tracklists 'Top 101 Most Supported Producers bill, and his music has picked up support from revered tastemakers and DJs such as Pete Tong, Faithless, Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, Martin Garrix and Meduza. But that's not all - even DJ Mag hold him in high regard dubbing him one of Liverpool's most exciting talents. 

James has also dialled in performances across multiple continents, his touring regimen making rounds from Tokyo to Ibiza, London to Amsterdam, Barcelona to Bali - including appearances at Creamfields UK, Printworks and Hï Ibiza. He has also performed at A Summer Story Festival, Mint Festival, Balaton Sound, RFM Somnii Festival, Los Alamos Festival, and the world-renowned Ministry of Sound. 

After a huge 2023, with appearances at Tomorrowland and Size's 20th anniversary show in Stockholm, James is gearing up for a highly anticipated schedule of new releases, claiming his spot as one of the most anticipated producers of recent times.
