bluerace is an eclectic, three-piece independent rock band from the New York Metropolitan area in the U.S.

The band is characterized by its songwriting and by the blend of its two principal songwriters' distinct guitar styles.  They have released three albums on their independent label, Big Radio Records: "World is Ready" in 2009, "Beautiful Sky" in 2013, and their best record yet, "Mistral," in 2019.  (They are also about to begin work on their as-yet untitled album #4.  And they have enough A-list songs to start #5.)

"Mistral," by definition, is a strong, cold northwesterly wind that blows through the Rhône valley and southern France and down into the Mediterranean.  And so, yeah...the guys maybe got their continents and seas mixed up a bit.  But the subtext is that there's a storm a coming.  In the meantime, they find the time to sing about love.  Because that's what music is about.  And it's the only thing that might save us from, or at least help us through the storm.

The band promises to release some of "Mistral" here on Soundcloud as soon as the sales figures approach a level that matches their investment to record, mix, master, and produce it.
