Blue Rising is a four piece rock band performing original music in the vein of Coheed and Cambria, Alter Bridge, Tool, Metallica and other progressive metal giants. With as much attention to memorable vocal hooks and melodies as instrumentation, technique, and arrangement, this band has been called "a perfect example of the direction in which commercial rock and roll music should head in the coming decade." For listeners with a taste for powerhouse vocals and tasteful songwriting, Blue Rising hits home.

I write songs on acoustic guitar and record them to share with other people. I'm not professional by any means, and so far record in just a car, with an iPad (GarageBand). More of my work will be on YouTube which there is a link for.

My greatest influences (Which may be obvious) are the bands Nirvana, Seether, and Hurt.
