It’s peak Saturday night. Lasers, smoke, hazy dreams and perfectly tuned F1’s, even the trees are buzzing. The forest knows. Knows that a Japanese techno sensei is secretly entering Varden at 02:30 in the cover of darkness.

DOLTZ is a surprise, and not listed in the program. He comes in with an ambient, almost psychedelic sound. Then slowly layering of all the little sounds that circle around the main beat, letting tension build, balancing experimental and driving techno. There are no sudden drops, but periods of pulling back before reintroducing energy to the dance floor.

DOLTZ took us with him into what felt like a wormhole. The beat held us steady, but everything around it was spinning, stretching, and folding in on itself. The reactions from the Monument family were as different as they were similar. Some were jumping, some were shaking, others were dancing pirouettes, moving slowly, or standing still. At times, it was like being inside a centrifuge or a washing machine. Not dizzy, but surrounded, as if the sound pressed against the body. His set was a physical experience: immersive, disorienting, yet weirdly grounding at the same time. 

Friends, step into the rocketship and journey through the wormhole once again. Return to Doltz at Varden. The techno gods were smiling from ear to ear that night.

Djilogue (@djilogue) is the co-founder and director of the underground club vurt. (@vurtkr), the curator of the experimental and ambient music podcast series 꿈 kkum (@kkumpodcast), and a techno/experimental DJ and live performer. He is known for his improvisational and exploratory approach, delving into new forms of order that emerge from the interplay between pattern and randomness, repetition and chance.

The 85th vurt Podcast features a deep techno set by Paris-based artist BLNDR.
Since the late 2000s, BLNDR has been creating a diverse range of electronic music. It was in the mid-2010s that he discovered the deep hypnotic techno scene on Soundcloud. Connecting with like-minded music enthusiasts and exploring this new world led to a deep dive into textures and immersive soundscapes. He began blending electronic music with acoustic drums, instruments, and field recordings — from the crackle of a branch to the fall of a log.

Since his debut on Hypnus in 2014, his musical purpose has stayed consistent. Whether aiming for a relaxed, shimmering, and bright sound or something spectral and groove-focused; BLNDR  strives to bring his music into layered, profound, and introspective dimensions.

Seoul Subway Line 2 (Korean: 서울 지하철 2호선), also known as the Circle Line, is a circular line of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. 

The line running clockwise is called the "inner circle line" and the counter-clockwise line is called the "outer circle line". 

This is Seoul's most heavily used line, and consists of the main loop (47.7 km), the Seongsu Branch (5.4 km) and the Sinjeong Branch (6.0 km) for a total line length of 60.2 km. 

The Line 2 loop is the second longest subway loop in the world after Beijing Subway Line 10.
