Ever since I was a little girl I said I wanted "Lovesong" played at my wedding. Well, my first wedding was a mess in every sense of the word and quickly fell apart and we share a daughter and are friends, but I'm glad we never picked songs and I never played Lovesong. But anyways, I really love this version and would totally use it for my wedding (if and when I ever get married again). It's dark, but still has the emotion, the longing, the beauty. And, of course, Bret's amazing voice and talent. I love it.

For being a laptop speaker, the commpressed sound i think really adds to the track. It's not bad, it's different! Unique!

Blue Stahli's forthcoming sophomore album, The Devil, gathers more steam with Chapter 02, which builds on the bullrush sonics of Chapter 01. Two new songs, "Ready Aim Fire" and "Enemy", kick out head-chopping metal riffs and breakneck breakbeats. These are fleshed out by two instrumental interludes and three remixes by Wildpuppet, OCTiV, and Animattronic that explore the electronic possibilities inherent in Blue Stahli's tunage. If the devil's gonna getcha, at least go down with good music reverberating through your skull.

I recorded this around 2008 or 2009 just through my laptop's build in mic (hence the rad audio quality stacking multitracks of laptop-compressed room noise).  I forgot this even existed and denied that I ever covered The Cure until someone played this back for me.
