Rest In D Minor

This is my first attempt at songwriting in about 5 years. I got thinking about how it's going to feel when I leave for university in September, and how I'm this big mixture of sad and hopeful about it. 

And quite honestly I wanted to see if I could write a pretty song about moving from Leeds to Sheffield, considering they're both not pretty places at all!

I'm not entirely sure what this song is about, but it initially stemmed from having to cope with flashbacks of a person/event. So this song is dedicated to you, you bastard! :)

I managed to possibly write the most depressing song I've ever written this afternoon. It's about the crazy mix of emotions I felt when experiencing a pregnancy scare. So, really cheery.

Little Nails

Eww, it's a love song. "What could Simon possibly know about love - he's perpetually single!" I hear you cry. To which I retort: hey, I have an imagination!

Also we've all had those types of friendships/romantic relationships where you think you're a screw up and it turns out the other person is even more fucked up. And sometimes that's scary. But you can get through it :)
