I’m a guitarist with a dedication to making songs come alive. Since 2006 I’ve been a full-time musician, playing thousands of shows for diverse audiences internationally. 

My passion is playing with, recording, and producing music for bands. 

For most of my career I have covered Top-40 songs, which has allowed me to master replicating guitar parts in a wide variety of styles, as well as gaining profound insight into how pop songs are constructed. Though I specialize in blues and blues rock, I also play jazz, reggae, classic rock, folk, country, soul, R&B, disco, and funk. 

At my home studio in Dubai, I write songs, record and edit instruments and vocals, and mix and master, as well as doing session work as a guitarist. In person, I provide live sound services for bands in small- and medium-sized venues.

GUITAR: My principal instrument is guitar (electric, acoustic, and slide), though I also play bass, banjo, mandolin, and ukulele. As well, I sing (some lead and lots of back vocals), and play blues harmonica. 

SONGWRITING: My own compositions are mainly in a blues/soul style, while the bespoke songwriting that I have done for clients has a wider range: vintage jazz, R&B, country, and children’s music. In those instances, I composed and arranged the songs, and wrote and recorded the guitar parts.

AUDIO ENGINEERING: For recording and editing I use Logic Pro X as my DAW, together with a Universal Audio Apollo system interface. I also work with plugins from Izotope like Ozone (mastering) and RX (cleaning/audio repair), Celemony Melodyne Studio 5 (vocal/audio tuning) and an array of plugins from Waves & Plugin Alliance.

VIDEO EDITING: I use Final Cut Pro X and its affiliated plugins.
