Romanian talent Tao Andra expresses her energetic yet sensitive nature through her music, ranging from powerful to dark and funky Techno. She started her musical voyage in The Netherlands while attending university but has gone on to become a sought-after international artist. After delivering music to labels such as 7Rituals, Kaligo Records and many more, Tao is back on Victor Ruiz’s esteemed VOLTA label with a two-track release titled ‘Body & Soul’.
The release gets underway with the title cut, ‘Body & Soul’, diving straight into an energetic flurry of pulsating bass, punchy kicks, ominous accents and gripping synth arps. Immediately atmospheric from the outset, this driving club cut runs an intriguing blend of futuristic vibes and celestial sonics from start to finish.
‘Aura’ completes the EP with captivating potency, delivering another high-energy Techno number. Hard- hitting drums and racy hat grooves steer the track forward amongst a dissolving sea of musical components as you get steadily lost in its free-fall before being hurled back into the huddle of this show- stopping peak-time bomb.
