BluFin Records returns with more fearsome techno, this time from Nana K & Ben Champell with remixes from AlBird and Omis Italy. Nana is a regular on Witty Tunes and Kallias and has been making his mark for a decade now, while Ben Champell is a German from Hamburg who has had outings on the likes of Ballroom Records & Stick Recordings.

Rapid Zone is the original and is a big techno tune with mind melting synths looping over and over. The drums hit hard and it's one that will lock the whole floor into its chunky groove.
AlBird goes for a remix that is layered up with slick synths and plenty of dark bass and vocals. It’s a real marching tune with subtle acid lines that will devastate the club.
Last of all Omis Italy subtly reworks the track into something that builds in layers and has some epic breakdowns. When it drops again with majestic keys and squelchy acid, the roof will blow off.

Cette herbe, c'était de la Blueberry. Ce n'était pas la première fois que je mangeais ce genre de gâteau, je n'appréhendais pas l'expérience. C'est très sereinement que j'ai pris un cookie posé sur la table pour le manger. À ce moment-là, je ne pensais pas pouvoir perdre le contrôle. Ce genre de gâteau a l'habitude de me faire effet très rapidement. Au bout d'une demi-heure, je sentais déjà des effets assez forts. Ce n'était que la montée et les effets étaient beaucoup plus puissants comparés à ma dernière expérience. J'essaye de rester tranquille mais je sens au fond de moi le THC qui prend le contrôle total de mon corps et de mon esprit. Mes sens commencent à être altérés profondément. L'eau dans ma bouche ressemble à du coton et le plaid dans lequel je suis enroulé n'a jamais été aussi doux. Je deviens hyper-perceptif. J'ai l'impression de voir au ralentit, parfois en accéléré. Les gens se découpent parfaitement du décor, je ne vois plus une seule image, mais des millions d'images superposées qui forment un tableau. J'ai peur. Je ne veux pas sortir, je ne veux même pas penser à l'idée de sortir. Je ferme la porte. Je ne suis plus du tout connecté à la réalité. Pour moi, nous sommes cinq sur cette planète terre. Et je ne peux m'empêcher d'avoir cette réflexion sur le couple parfait et hasardeux que forme la molécule de THC avec mes récepteurs postsynaptiques.

With "VA - Outworld 001", the Berlin-based artist Klangkuenstler sets the tone for his new label 
venture of the same name, delivering a blueprint of techno that is futuristic in feel, yet firmly rooted 
in the analogue aesthetics of its heritage. In consequence, Outworld embodies a timelessness, 
which runs parallel to its mission statement – to take the listener deep into the outer realms and 
beyond.
Klangkuenstler's own stellar contribution, 'Supernova', is central to this essence, both in name and 
sound: the textured, high-velocity drum programming bursts with energy and propels the track 
forward relentlessly, while a transcendental synth dances amidst eerie pads and a squelching acid 
bass-line.
'The Evolution', by Manchester's Rudosa, also reaches for a higher sphere by way of a crystalline, 
ever-morphing lead that stretches towards infinity in its climax. Rumbling underneath, heavily 
pounding drums add balance, while acting equally hypnotic.
Hush & Sleep from Maastricht then conclude the odyssey with 'Nio', a muscular builder, consisting 
of dynamic cyber-strings looped endlessly above a fiercly galloping groove. As washes of white 
noise and hi-hats take off into space, it's evident that the EP ends with a third definition of one 
specific feeling: Outworld.
