Mig Dfoe (nombre de pila: Juan Miguel Camacho Sánchez) es un productor y DJ mexicano con una sólida trayectoria de más de dos décadas en la escena global de la música electrónica. Su base de operaciones actual es Morelia, Michoacán, México, tras haber vivido y trabajado en importantes centros musicales como Barcelona y Ámsterdam.

Trayectoria y Visión

Inmerso en la producción musical desde la era temprana de los Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), Mig Dfoe ha sido un testigo y participante activo en la democratización tecnológica del sonido. 

A lo largo de su carrera, su música ha viajado por diversas plataformas y sellos, destacando especialmente su trabajo con Traum Schallplatten de Colonia, Alemania. El director del sello, Riley Reinhold, le dio una plataforma internacional, lo que le permitió realizar remixes para artistas de la talla de Extrawelt, Minilogue y Applescal, e incluso estrenar material en uno de los subsellos de Traum, Zaubernuss.

Trabajo Reciente: Metamorfosis EP

Mig Dfoe mantiene su relevancia en la vanguardia electrónica con lanzamientos recientes. Su más nuevo trabajo, el Metamorfosis EP, ejemplifica su constante evolución sonora y su habilidad para transformar ideas complejas en paisajes sonoros cautivadores. El EP añade una nueva capa a su ya diverso catálogo, el cual incluye piezas envolventes como "Ataxia" y "Ocaso", así como trabajos anteriores que cimentaron su reputación, como el "Adios Corazon" EP.

Con una base de seguidores que aprecian su enfoque en la calidad técnica y la resonancia emocional, Mig Dfoe continúa siendo una figura relevante que equilibra la experimentación con la profundidad melódica, consolidándose como un constructor de atmósferas que desafían la noción de lo que debe ser la música electrónica.

So, to make this story short. I’m a french DJ and producer in exil and you can spot me somewhere between Berlin, Paris, Milan. 
I am a passionate artist in love with underground electronic music (from deephouse to minimal techno).
In the early days…1994-1999, I was DJin’ in Paris with the DJs and artists like David Duriez, Alexkid, Llorca a.k.a Art of Tones,…signed on the legendary labels Brique Rouge and F.Communications).

In 1999, I moved to BERLIN and had the pleasure to play all over the berlin techno/house scene with friends and local heroes such as DJ Phonique and Eric D Clark. I became resident DJ at some of the Berlin’s 2000 cult venues such as the Feeling Private and Sommerresidenz or Club Paris @ Pfefferbank. I spinned the decks at the Kings Club, 103, Tresor… and almost never missed any thursdays at the WMF for the legendary Kaleidoskop party hosted by Jazzanova and Sonar Kollketiv crew. You may have spotted me also partying at Weekend, Watergate, Cookies, Panorama Bar or the relaxed afters at Club der Visionaere and Bar25. 

When I moved to Italy I had the chance to bring my sounds to the mythical Feeling parties at Refeel and also at Exploit lounge in Milan as well as at the club 400 with local heroes such as Danilo Paz, Fabulous, Milhouse, Milly de Mori, Mitsu, Steve Agostino, etc… 

I did a fantastic tour in South Africa with my buddies DJ RBoam, Schalk Louw, Lea Z Frost and François S from the DJs on a Mission crew. I also played some tunes in India and in the US (Boston) and I try to bring my gear wherever I travel so I am always up for a last minute gig.

My music? Well, as being a veteran DJ (I learnt with turntables at a time where no timecodes, CDs, or beatsync), I like to play records that will make the people dance and be happy, so anything from House or Techno that has some soul can find its place on my decks. I like it to be sexy, warm, deep, melodic and eclectic. It can sound sweet, acid, funky, jazzy, loungy, soulful or tecky, but it always will be DEEP… This is something between house and techno with a minimalicious touch. I used to play only with vinyles, I now use also Serato/Traktor to play the digital formats, but nothing beats the wax. ;) I like to design my own controllers using tablets and get creative with new technology.
