Philly Whizz first became known as an M.C and founder member of Liverpool Hiphop group The Shakti. The group released 3 E.Ps to much acclaim, they toured nationwide and appeared in National press articles and reviews in Hip Hop Connection, Big Smoke and Undercover Magazine. They also appeared LIVE on Granada Television.
Philly released his solo album ‘Up The Wizards Sleeve’ in 2005. For which he teamed up with fellow St.Helens Hiphopper D.J Rasp (DMC/ITF/champ). The album reached ‘Number 4’ on the ‘Hiphop Connection U.K chart’. His video for the song ‘Yer Mam’s Yer Dad’ also became a regular favourite on Channel U. The album was distributed nationwide by CARGO, BOOMDOX and HMV. In 2007 he produced the RandomEra L.P ‘The Searching Years’ which was ‘Number 2’ on the U.K HipHop chart.
He has toured nationwide and received rave reviews. The  2nd  Philly Whizz album ‘Inside The Axe Wound’  was released in 2008. 
He has toured and shared stages with esteemed artists such as:
 Public Enemy, Gang starr, Goldie Lookin chain, Lady Sovereign, Ugly Duckling, DJ Format, Master Ace, Black Twang, Out Da Ville, Tommy Evans, Jehst, Braintax, Youngblood Brass Band.

RiUvEn... exploded out of Toxteth Liverpool, in a blaze of goth battering and ganja smoke in early 2006. For Liverpool, a city not known for producing exciting rap acts, Riuven’s Unrelentingly harsh and unmistakably scouse approach was a revelation. Discovering his flair for rapping after grabbing the mic at a special brew and skunk party, Riuven has gone on to be a cult figure in his home city despite just a handful of live performances and even less sightings of him on the mean streets of Liverpool. Always elusive, RiUvEn's popularity came through his Myspace page where songs such as ‘What lad’ and ‘The LIV’ had tens of thousands of plays and were soon being Bluetoothed around the city. Producing tunes at a rate of knots, disses such as Lily Rich kid Allen were immediately pinging around mobile phones. That tongue-in-cheek attack on the London singer even caught the attention of the national press. Undoubtedly funny, the ‘your ma’ jokes, weed references and casual misogyny hide a social commentary of a city where many teenagers pass the time by joyriding, taking drugs and generally misbehaving. In Nike Air, a baseball cap and never more than a burglary away from an , Riuven is every bit a kidder with the ability to spit fire. Concerning himself with pastimes such as scoring skunk and screwing the dole,Riuven is a mysterious figure not often seen in public. A string of upcoming court appearances might also be helping him to stay indoors.

  The Amnesiacs are an exciting Ska/rap/funk/indie group from Liverpool. Providing a scintillating rendition of contemporary Ska fused with a modern day twist, not recreating the past but rather pushing it forwards. The songs provide a sharp documentary of modern day living - subjects that affect us all in this current climate of social and political uncertainty. They combine their social awareness with humour and irony - a throw back to the golden era of socially conscious music and attitude. As a live act The Amnesiacs are a formidable force with boundless energy and enthusiasm. The stage show incorporates the five core Amnesiacs members, plus keyboards and a three piece brass section. Also their propensity to freestyle during the set makes the live performances vibrant, unpredictable and ultimately unforgettable. “Top Yourself” is currently featuring in Kev Sampson’s cult film “Awaydays”, released in May 2009, starring Steven Graham and Liam Boyle. It is a social take on the media hype surrounding the illusion of the supposedly self destructive world we’re living in right now. The track is available on the Amnesiacs debut album "Forget to Remember" and is available from iTunes. In the past The Amnesiacs have toured and shared stage with The Slits, Neville Staple, The Beat, Bad Manners and The Blockheads.

Blunted Edge are a brand new group from Merseyside/Cheshire. They effortlessly combine new music with old influences. Taking modern genres such as Hiphop and Indie and blending them into the past influences of Folk and Blues. T

All the songs are written and recorded in an original loose laid back approach. They are a tremendous live act ideal for : parties, gigs and festivals.
