Blur Records is thrilled to unveil the exceptional 4 track EP by the gifted producer Doktor Yok!, titled "Yok Makaryok", which showcases his innovative approach to music, by combining Garage, Disco, and House and pushing the boundaries of genre-blending to new and exhilarating heights.

The first track entitled "B.C.G." is immediately recognized by its old-school drum machine, sampling style, featuring a distinctive flute, pacey percussion and a driving stab bass, in a classic display of quintessential disco sound.

"Uknow" follows, enveloping you in its UK garage rhythm, with pulsating basslines and chopped-up vocals leaving you in a suspended state of sonic bliss. Doktor Yok!'s attention to detail and mastery of sampling and sound design shine through, making "Uknow" a standout in any musical set.

‘Lone Surfer EP’ marks Swedish producer Hosini’s fourth standalone release with Anjunadeep. After making his label debut in 2017, his tracks ‘Syna’, ‘8 Hours Still No Rain’, and ‘Froozen / Balloons’ have featured in four consecutive label compilations; Anjunadeep 09, 10, 11 and 12, and accumulated over 14 million streams to date.

Now, Hosini offers four new tracks on his ‘Lone Surfer EP ’ that are soothing and atmospheric in nature, combining warm chordal elements with bass lines full of groove, and rich, organic percussion.

A versatile producer, Hosini has recently released his cinematic EP ‘Beyond The Fog’ on Anjunadeep’s own ambient and downtempo imprint ‘Reflections’, and has been supported by names such as Parra for Cuva, Nils Hoffmann, Eelke Kleijn and BBC Radio 1's Pete Tong.

‘Lone Surfer EP’ is out on August 29 via Anjunadeep.

Hello Friend, 

I'm glad you've found your way!

 Spring has sprung here in Melbourne and as the weather improves & the days grow longer, I find myself getting more creative. Not just with music but in all areas of my life. Its a time to plant seeds - both metaphorically and in the physical realm. I've got some production seedlings well under way which are due to be planted later this month (Fingers crossed). 

Anywho, I thought I'd make a Spring Mix to celebrate!  Obvs I've gone for a pretty chill vibe with nothing to hectic... but I do hope this mix takes you from 'hammock to garden' to plant some seeds of your own.
