D.T.D. @darktimedecadence is a music project founded by Naples-based Giuseppe Augello.Inspired by the late 19th-century decadence movement, D.T.D.'s conceptual focus revolves around decadent heroes, exploring themes such as identity denial,primitivism, human failure, sexuality, rituals, submission and power. The project's distinctive style combines a variety of dystopian and dark atmospheres, heavily influenced by post-punk, EBM, and industrial genres.In his productions D.T.D. incorporates field recordings and experiments with DIY noise boxes to deliver a unique sonic journey, ranging from ultra heavy industrial stompers to light-footed but dramatic techno hypnotics. During performances, D.T.D. stands out for intuition, engaging the audience for its decadent ceremonies without ever deviating from the musical vision.
