A core memory was playing secret garden in the grove this year.
This was so special and not just because it’s Shambhala, but because I felt so connected to myself and everyone around me in that moment in time.
The improvised nature of this set added to the beauty of it all. I just knew the feeling I wanted to invoke and left it open for exploration. 

3-430am…and it’s as if you can hear the morning light creeping in, exploring many style of music I love within. 
We just vibed out, gettin lost in the music together 🌀🩵 

Curating a space and playing the right music at the right time has always been so important to me and something I really cherish so thank you for feeling me, showing up and bringing the vibes 🫶.

Secret Garden - Shambhala 2024

Dance Portal is a co-creation founded by myself Amber Wolf Moon & Felix Bourbeau (Mossy Tree) that is an intentional, pure-hearted offering for our beloved dance community here in the Kootenays in Beautiful British Columbia. 

I have been offering Ecstatic Dance journeys for 8 years and finally took the courageous leap to DJ Live with the loving support of my soul ally - Felix. We both live and breathe for offering our purpose and sacred service in this way. 

This set was an emergence of welcoming the light on Winter Solstice - a time I often avoided always chasing the tropical sun and resisted the medicine of what the inner and outer winter season has to offer for growth and creative expansion.

I am so beyond grateful for all my loved ones who came out and danced to this Sunday Morning Soulstice Cacao set anchored in the heart and grounded in connection. This was definitely a peak experience of my whole life. It was also our biggest turn out of Dance Portal which was a celebration in itself.

Dance Portal Soulstice Mix

Grateful to share my live-recorded dance journey here (including live looping with vocals, yidaki/didjeridoo, flute and percussion) with the Ecstatic Dance Melbourne community. As this was the first dance of the New Year, the theme of 'rebirth' came through as I started preparing this journey, reflecting on what is happening in my life currently as well as the opportunity to be reborn into a New Year cycle. Ecstatic Dance Melbourne – "Rebirth" 10.01.25

Here’s my opening set to The Magic Garden Vol. 6 “Invasion/Survival Day” celebration. I was honoured to play after Ben Moodie’s opening ceremony and help set the vibe for the day ahead with a rising tribal bass, ethnic midtempo and psytech journey, highlighting some indigenous styles in honour of celebrating First Nations as opposed to the colonial settler violence this day represents for many.

Ponderosa LP preview pt 1

I was honoured to host my first Dance Wave event in my hometown of Melbourne, Australia for the Winter Solstice, and guide participants through a Solstice ceremony with intention-setting, a dance journey to bring light to the darker parts of ourselves, into a sound bath to integrate before the closing circle. This is the live recording of the dance journey, complete with live-looping of yidaki/didjeridoo, vocals, and percussion.

This experience was truly humbling – the response and feedback incredible and a potent co-creation in aligning with the cycles of our world to release, heal and express authentically. I am filled with purpose and meaning and feel inspired to continue to evolve these offerings for community connection and celebration. Dance of the Returning Light - Winter Solstice 21.06.25

Absolutely honoured to have the opportunity to warm up the system at the Grove stage on the last day of the rave. I had many emotions leading up to and during this set. Life hasn't been easy but it's all been worth it. Thank you to every one of you that have influenced or inspired me on this wild ride. 

The set starts downtempo and builds energy throughout - a slow build of melodic and worldly sounds to loosen and connect with the body, searching for peace and healing in this calamitous world.
