I recorded this track after a week of getting to know my rack.

I draw inspiration from early electronic music lately so this track is based on classical subtractive synthesis (completely recreating the sound path of the minimoog) with advanced generative control provided by digital modules.

There is a lot to modify and improve, but it already feels like a successful start of a big journey.

According to my feelings, this composition is suitable for meditations and especially for morning practices aimed at opening the descending flow of energies. The abundance of flowing high-frequency harmonics and resonances in music creates a similar effect for our subtle bodies as listening to a sitar or tampura.

Tidal

This composition was written on May 31, 2020 and for some inexplicable internal reasons, I found the motivation to share it just now. This is one of the last tracks (at the moment) recorded by me not in the format of free improvisation. Track was written from scratch, recorder and fully processed during 2 days.

Here I have achieved a satisfying plexus of soft, textured synthesizers, airy guitar, deep elusive percussion and distant vocals.

It was sort of a summarization of my writing practice and meticulous bedroom music production. The act that left songwriting out of my life for years, making room for more pragmatic pursuits.

Kataragama

Music of experimental Russian duo Sal Solaris resembles a 'black box', at input - strict engineering approach, at output - deeply emotional product. The contrast is seeming: science, that delivers material for reflection, tries to grasp the complexity of the world - and thus shifts limits of the reasonable mixing incompatible components.
The mini-album 'Tautology and Paradox' is also full of seeming contrasts, collapsing tautologies and paradoxes. 17 minutes of noise psychedelia and weird-understood techno on 'observing observers who observe themselves as observers'.
