Trauma Control was born at a time when I had fallen into the deepest hole of my life. Still, I decided to face my inner demons – to force myself to open up and let my feelings out, even if it meant walking straight through hell. And honestly, I was already stuck in the middle of it. But this track isn’t about my past or the wounds I kept buried for decades. Trauma Control is meant to be a place – a space where you feel understood. A kind of shelter that shows you, even in your darkest times, that you’re not alone. A place where it’s okay to be weak, to cry if you need to, and to just let go. Everyday life often pushes us to keep control, even when we’ve got nothing left in the tank and we’re drowning in chaos inside. This is my set recorded at Earthdance Cape Town 2025 from 22h30-00h00 on Friday Night. Labelled the Reboot, and with the festival having a somewhat nostalgic feel- i chose to creatively lean into that mixing an array of music from the future with a couple of current releases and some of my favourite classics for good measure. A true journey from light to grooving dark and back out again into the light!
