Fotis aka Alchemix is no stranger in the Psychedelic Trance world. Having played at various festivals and parties around the world since the late 90`s, having released 3 albums and countless tracks on various compilations and labels, now he`s presenting his brand new project Mind Lab, focused on a progressive Psytrance sound, crafted carefully in the Lab, aiming to stimulate your mind.

After his successful debut EP on BMSS Records, "Inner Engineering" and numerous tracks on various compilations elsewhere, Fotis Elf unleashes fresh output from his studio. Both "The Setting" and "Sitaram" contain the key elements of Mind Lab's sound:  Goa and retro elements intermixed with oriental and ethnic touches to create beautiful, unusual melodies punctuated by the strong rhythm. 

The alter ego of Alchemix showcases perfectly why we at BMSS love the output from Fotis's studio: music with depth and musicality that is not typical for modern Psytrance production.

Mind Lab is the newfangled sonic adventure by Fotis Elf, customarily known as Alchemix. This set was recorded live @ the Pulsar 6 Year Anniversary Celebration which took place July 23-24th, 2016 in the Mojave Desert of southern California.  This set was played Sunday morning 6-7AM after a morning Goa set from Spice Rack and before a wonderful uplifting and psychedelic Full-On set by Life Style!  In this set my goal was to combine a number of Full-On styles cohesively in order to craft a story line and narrative that matched the timeslot and the vibe of the gathering!  I hope you enjoy!

Working with connections from within the BMSS Family as well as personal ones, this CD features a largely European lineup placing newcomers alongside well-known artists like Vertex, Solar Spectrum, Datacult and Elegy. 

Alexsoph's first solo compilation for BMSS Records presents a wide angle view on the space between Progressive Trance and Psytrance but flips it upside down. Using a selection of references cleverly pitched down, Alexsoph creates a space for a deep and hypnotic journey. 

Each track merges seamlessly with the next driving, intricate composition. Provocative intros and moving energetic textures are rounded out by no-nonsense throbbing beats and basses. Subtle atmospheres and deconstructed melodies work together to create a distinct depth that never looses it's psychedelic vantage point. Sparse but well-placed elements manipulate the remaining space to create a low-pitched mysterious quality. 

Panorama is a brilliant, refreshing reinterpretation of the space between Progressive Trance and Psychedelic Trance. Mastered by Stryker.

Soon after he wanted to recreate his own sounds and began learning production and synthesis.

Now as an individual artist, Djantrix has evolved with a serious and sophisticated focus on intelligent music. He specializes in creating unique psychedelic music filled with highly cutting psychedelic sounds.
