EP Description : 
With my new two-track EP Yin Yang, I set out to explore the kind of contrast that can only be created by opposing energies. Inspired by the ancient concept of duality—light and dark, soft and hard, tension and release—I began this project with a focus on balance and contrast in sound.

One of the biggest challenges I gave myself was working at the slowest tempos I’ve ever produced: 123 and 130 BPM. Slowing things down opened up a new world of detail. Every texture and nuance became more exposed, which meant I had to be even more precise with sound design and mixing. Less room to hide—more space to shape.

Track one, “ToldYouTwice,” is a seven-minute journey with a warm, saturated bassline that’s sub-heavy yet still melodic enough to cut through on small speakers, thanks to careful use of saturation. Rich atmospheres and razor-sharp drums carry the track forward, and those paying close attention might recognize a familiar old vocal sample tucked inside.

Track two, “IN-OS,” leans into a much moodier, industrial vibe. The energy is tighter, darker, and more experimental—driven by strange metallic percussion (including a “clap” made from an actual foley recording of clanging metal I found on Bandcamp). The sound design here came from chasing textures that felt gritty, tactile, and human.

What I love most about this EP is how opposite the two tracks are—uplifting and spacious vs. brooding and condensed. That contrast is the essence of Yin Yang: opposing forces that complete each other.

As always, these tracks were made by me—for me. Every BMT release is like a time-stamped diary entry, capturing the emotions and ideas I was moving through at the time. I hope you enjoy this new angle on dance music, whether you're vibing solo or letting loose in a club.

CJ Bolland’s “The Prophet” is a track that continues to resonate in the world of electronic music, and for good reason. Released in 1992, it became a defining anthem of the early 90s techno scene, blending haunting atmospheres with pulsating beats. But what makes "The Prophet" even more intriguing is its use of a vocal sample taken from a film about Jesus Christ, which gives the track a spiritual and philosophical depth that sets it apart from many other tracks of the time.
Inspired by the original, I’ve put my own spin on “The Prophet” with a fresh remix. In my version, I’ve preserved the essence of the track while adding some modern elements.
Whether you're a fan of the original or hearing it in a new form, I hope this remix brings out a new dimension of what makes “The Prophet” such a special piece in the world of electronic music.

Luca Tresque debuts on Unrilis with a driving techno EP that has raw sounds and hypnotic grooves.

Hailing from Austria, Luca Tresque is the co-owner of Splatter imprint and has released on Florian Meindl's FLASH, Robert Hoff's trau-ma, and Alex Bau's Credo. Known for his exceptional DJ skills being a resident at Kantine Club, he has also played at the respected KHIDI, Werk, and Grelle Forelle venues.

Unrilis is a record label Co-Founded by the late Rino Cerrone, and Luca Tresque is the latest artist to join the imprints roster.

"Oxygen" is the EP's title track, and it layers trippy vocals with a hulking synth line stretched over high-velocity percussion. Next up, "Dunes Everywhere" has a murky lead synth combining with fizzing hi-hats and a ground shaking low-end. "Exotic Frog" closes the release with atmospheric pads and croaking synth bursts combined with intense claps and a hammering kick.
