Per Barfot is a Swedish musician making experimental
ambient music with a modular synthesizer and tape
loops.
He has previously released the EP “Metaphysical Badlands” together with Songs From Tin Pan Alley, and the single Epoché on Mystery Circles. He has also uploaded hundreds of shorter pieces to his
Instagram page.

Barfot is a Swedish word, meaning “barefoot”. It was also the name of a Norwegian king (Magnus Barfot, 1073-1103). Per’s grandfather, who studied genealogy, discovered that Magnus was their common ancestor. He is described as the “last viking of the Norwegian kings”. The a name Barfot originated from an incident when he hastily had to
flee from Swedish soldiers without shoes.
