I played a hugely enjoyable 8 hour marathon at Kantine am Berghain in Berlin last Thursday, and although I wasn’t able to record the whole night, I did manage to get the first 3 hours and the final hour and a half. So this is a mix in 2 parts – the first 185 minutes a downtempo groove fest, whilst from 3.05.26 onwards we’re into the final furlongs of the party with proceedings much more upbeat.

O'sullivan Minifest 5.0 2022 Live Set

For the tenth instalment of the Orphic Series, we welcome O'Sullivan to take over mix duties, delivering an hour and a half of melodic, tribal beats, full of hooky vocals and energetic drums.

Ben Metcalf-Penny a.k.a. O'Sullivan is an up-and-coming melodic tech house DJ and producer, taking influence from his journey to Burning Man, Nevada in 2015. O'Sullivan at the age of 15 began spinning records and has since gone on to DJ at top venues across the West Midlands, and securing long term residencies at Tattu and the Alchemist in Birmingham's city centre.

With a passion for music that is infectious, this is certainly an artist to keep an eye on. We look forward to welcoming O'Sullivan to open our next event on September 3rd '22 as part of our Autumn-Winter Series.
