When out at night in late April and early May in Uppland, a very common call is that of Common Scoters migrating north to the Swedish mountains. Mellow whistles in the night. Nåsten, Uppsala. May 3, 2023.

The droprig by the shoreline of a larger mesotrophic lake caught a nice collection of birds including Great Crested Grebe, Common Tern, Barnacle Geese, Willow Warblers, Reed Buntings etc. This is just a small selection of all birds in this recording.
