Not sure of the English expression of this song, neither am I sure if the meaning of this song is entirely clear. But it seldom herd more than a few meters away from the songster.

A wide and deep, gently rhythmically hypnotic, mallee heathland dawn, from an evening to morning recording made with a mid-side rig utilising an omnidirectional mid microphone. (Relaxed listening with good quality headphones with flat frequency response, especially open-backed, at a moderate volume, is ideal.)

2025.09.13 Ngarkat Dawn. Early Spring.

I was in Estonia recently to check-out Matsalu National park to learn as much as I could about it before maybe returning in May to record.  It was the wrong time of year to record birds, however back in the city I recorded some street sounds on my last evening.  Equipment; A Sound Devices MixPre3 recorder and a matched pair of Primo microphones.  Recording 4476.
