According to Wikipedia, "Cheek to Cheek" is a popular song written by Irving Berlin and recorded by Steve Lawrence and Edie Gorme in 1960 on their 1960 album "We Got Us."  Steve and Edie performed as a couple for over 60 years.  He might be most famous for "Go Away Little Girl" in the 60's.  This song has been covered by many performers. Cheek to Cheek (Duet With Amanda at Champions 10-08-2025)

Just a little about myself.  About 12 years ago in April 2010, I sang my first karaoke song in public at Hardee's in Lexington, KY and the song was a Sinatra song "Summer Wind".  I finished the song and waited a couple weeks to come back because I didn't really think I had done well.  So I asked the assistant manager what people said and he told me to keep the microphone close to my mouth.  So I have now done 1583 songs by 506 different singers or groups in those 12 years.  The Pandemic was a very rough time in not being able to see and sing for people.  I tried Facebook, but I don't seem to like their sound quality at times.  Another piece of advice I would have is to listen and work with the people who run the shows.  I have gotten to know some great people who I could talk about for a long time.  People like Tom Martin, Cecil (Dusty) Wilson, Scott Rogers (who created a logo for my music), Erik Davig, Charles Sanders, Billy Judd, and Tom White.  We can all learn a lot from our time in music.
