Hey gang! Deltarune Chapter 2 has been released so that means I'll be back to my old remixing shenanigans~ (^・ω・^ ) Spamton became one of my fav characters in this chapter alongside the Queen, so I thought I'd start with one of his themes first! Which song are you interested in me remixing next?~ (~‾▿‾)~

This song was so bizarre and surreal, similar to the character it represents. As a result, this has probably been one of my greatest musical challenges so far in part because of how long it's been since I've remixed anything. It's probably also the most fun I've had in quite a while. Hope you enjoy.

DEATH IS THE ONLY ~ WAY INTO HEAVEN

God, this cover was... SOMETHING to work on, alright. The original song has this very unique feeling to it. I don't know how else to describe it except, something like a regretted suicide attempt? Like you're at death's door, but you've decided that you don't want to die yet and you're desperate to go back to the world of the living. Or your survival instincts kick in, haha. 

Either way, it's a blend of horror and pure desperation. So I tried augmenting that feeling with a bit of inspiration from other 'demon-slaying' songs - mostly stuff like Hakita's ULTRAKILL work, Super Miriam from FAITH III, modern DOOM, etc. This is my first time trying to do something like that, so if it's a little rusty, you can guess why. I hope everyone likes it, though!

Although I know very little about the Deltaurne Ozymandias project, I've always been fond of this track by RVPine - particularly the way the climax builds - and at first wanted to try my hand at recreating it as a learning experience. In the end though, it turned out as a full-blown arrangement which differs a fair amount from the original. It's definitely messier than RVPine's variation and I struggled quite a lot making the strings and bass especially sound in-key when I couldn't work out what the original notes were. Hopefully it sounds alright though! 😁

Wow! It's finally here! So that Timber statement kind of aged, didn't it?

This version of the song has taken a while for me to really be happy with. People have reposted the V2 W.I.P with the guitar solo, while it sounds cool it never fit Camellia as a character very well.

So, I decided to look to my favorite covers of this song as well as the original version for pointers.
I ended up making something that PERSONALLY works better for Camellia as a whole.

There's a few nods to some covers in here. Maybe you can find them?

A little background info, I still did the majority of this track, with @kiwiquest chiming in on some small things like drums.

I may still update this a little, but it'll be just mixing tweaks, etc.
