Bleaker Still is an epic Atmospheric Black Metal band based in Manchester, England. Bleaker Still has been active since 2006, writing and recording demos. Bleaker Still also includes elements of Folk, Blackgaze, Post-Rock, Progressive Rock and Ambient. Frenchie plays all instruments as well as self recording and producing the material. As of autumn 2011, Drenlord took over vocal duties, and the two completed the debut album Whisper of the Heart. Bleaker Still aims to distance itself from the stereotypes of traditional black metal, and is more in tune with modern black metal acts that perform in plain clothes and write about nature and the environment.
