Now that I’ve come back down to earth after the last few days being on Cloud 9… WOWZERS! 

How many vibes can you cram into a 30 minute set at the Defected Basement? So F-ING many!! 

That was so much fun!! 🤩 

Defected Family at The Defected Basement was back for a second year and this time, I got the opportunity to play and I even got to play after the legend that is @katiegoodman_dj which blew my mind!! 🤯

With a 30 minute set, it’s really hard to choose songs as you just try to find your feet in the first 30 minutes but wow it felt like I was playing for 2 hours! It was insane!
The Defected Family showed me nothing but love and danced their socks off!

I’ve had nothing but messages and compliments about the set and the energy that people experienced! 

I’m grateful to Nick & Lars for having me and kudos to them for organising this event with @wezsaunders yet again… proving that we are the best fans! We will always be Defected and as the slogan says ‘You Are Defected!’.

Don’t forget, this event was supporting the incredible charity ‘Shelter’ which is close to Defected & Wez’s Heart and also many of ours! We raised in total £1,550.00 which was incredible and Defected decided to match that because of how much the Defected family raised! Well bloody done! 🤩👊🏻

Also, everyone else who also played, smashed it out of the park. I didn’t get many videos at all because I was enjoying myself so so much! 

Horris, Paula, Karen, Fred, Katie, Chris & David were amazing! I really enjoyed it all!!

I had a beautiful moment with my beautiful girlfriend Phoebe who really felt welcome at this event and I thank everyone who showed her love and kindness and danced with her! She really loves and appreciates you all! ❤️✨🫶 and I love her so much too!!

They’ll be more to talk about this incredible event when the pro photos and vids come out and also when the mixes come out too but for now I’m just reflecting and trying to fly back down from Cloud 9!
