Every since I acquired U-he Zebra I always thought that it could produce sounds reminiscent of Buchla synths. So...I created this piece trying to imitate that great synth as best I could.



Zebra does Buchla

A collection of song sketches made with the Buchla Music Easel. No edits, no overdubs, all improvised using just the Easel and a delay pedal.

Heuristic Ambience

Another piece of nonsense with no discernible melody and very few points of interest but, nevertheless, sounds ok at low volume especially through headphones. I will be interested to see how many people can actually stick it out for the full duration.
Trisonics - only 3 sounds are present at any one time (not including fx such as vinyl scratching).

Created in collaboration with mAdDaLiEn this is part of a longer "live" recording utilising some sample players and mainly MakeNoise and Mutable Instruments Eurorack modules. It is somewhat scratchy and crackly but that is no bad thing.

Third track of a series called `Colours', which have tracks exploring the non-diatonic Melakarta scales (Melakarta is a set of all possible scales which necessarily have a perfect fifth, and all possible combinations of other notes en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melakarta). The first half of this track is in Simhendramadhyama scale (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simhendramadhyamam) which has the tonic, major second, minor third, sharp fourth, fifth, minor sixth and major seventh notes. (S R2 G2 M2 P D1 N3 S)
