Hello friends on soundcloud! I hope you're doing well wherever you are in the world.

I uploaded a voice memo demo thing for this song a couple weeks ago, so I'm gonna keep this brief because I don't wanna repeat myself, hehe. It's basically about this conflict I had with my mum that messed with me for ages. I was writing about it A LOT and this particular song was peculiar in that I had just written the lyrics and left them sitting there for a while. But it stuck with me and remained a song that stood out to me from that time, even if I never finished it. It just meant a lot to me and was a huge part of figuring out exactly how I felt and how I could move forward; probably because it was a later song during that conflict/time in my life.

I look back on all of that now and think, 'haha, wow buddy, you were so dramatic, ahahahaha', but these songs still mean a lot to me, so it was important that I finish and record the ones that I still hold dear; just on a personal level.

(Damn, I said I'd keep this brief, but here we are.)
