

Reupload of a cover of "Are You Ready?", the character select theme from Tekken 2, first released in 1995. Music composed by Yoshie Arakawa and Yoshie Takayanagi.

This started as an attempt at using a Roland JV-1080 in performance mode for all sounds. The drums were eventually taken out of the JV-1080's workload and rendered as separate tracks in Ableton, along with a break groove for more texture. The rest of the track (i.e. all non-drum sounds) is played via the JV-1080 in performance mode.

A number of the sounds used are default presets of the JV-1080, including PR-C:060 (Orbit Pad) and PR-C:075 (Jet Pad 1), respectively the low and high pads heard at the start and throughout the track, and the non-break drum sounds. The electric piano is preset no. 121 (Joe's Rhodes) from the Keyboards of 60s/70s expansion board (SR-JV80-08). All other sounds are custom patches.
