The Original Big J a.k.a Josh Davis, a Boston, MA native who gradually built on his lyrical Hip Hop talent since the age of 8 while moving throughout eastern Massachusetts, southern Florida, and Belize (Central America), in which brought a whole different outlook and aspect on life for him as presented in his music. Now in his late twenties and sculpting a new project ("OverDue") due for release during the second quarter of 2018, Big J states that he is "more ready than ever" to commence on an industry competing level. 

	Since his younger years of listening to the likes of Rakim, Big L, Big Daddy Kane, Wu-Tang Clan, Tupac, Jay-Z, The Notorious B.I.G. and a colossal of other hip hop pioneers, Big J's love for the genre grew heavier since day one. With his writing process starting at a tender age amongst an intense urge to sprout his rapping skills to a more intriguing platue with the years of practice and crafting, he knew it would be a long road. But the plans of sicking it out through thick and thin due to the freedom writing gave him, would guide Big J beyond points in life that few could mentally survive. 

	As years past and certain circumstances accrued, a major move was made from Massachusetts to Belize. Spending only a year in Central America, it gave Josh a new outlook on life. Realizing that a third world country was rough, rugged, and did not apprehend a lot of the luxuries we are accustom to in the United States and other parts of the world, a greater appreciation for life was gained pretty quickly. Since there was very minimal to do at the time, a pen and a notepad became Big J's best friends. Constantly writing over commercial beats molded his talent which he noticed as the days went on. During a brief move back to Massachusetts, surrounding friends and family bared witness to Josh's more profound skill as he would display and rap memorized verses from previous writings. Continuing with his hip hop ambition after another move to southern Florida, Big J also expanded his artistic mind into what happens behind the music such as audio engineering, music production, music business, and graphic design in which was all self-taught. Now with a lot more knowledge of the music industry it was time to build a solid foundation as an independent artist..... back home in Boston.   

	Even though the road to success is still a long one for The Original Big J, the drive is more there than ever and seems to have no signs of fading. Along with being the CEO of "Realist Squad Entertainment" and having branching connections through out the New England area, he stays focused and takes each step of the way as an accomplishment. Gaining more and more notoriety with his musical talent since 2010, as he says "There is no other way to go than up from here on". With strong hustle and and incredible work ethic comes glorified moments and achievements... with that at the forefront of his mind... Big J is well on his way to a higher level in hip hop that no one would have ever expected.
