This new episode, we are honored to present a dear friend and talented artist from the southern Chilean scene: Chico.G https://soundcloud.com/chicogmusic?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing, DJ and music producer based in Pucón, is also the founder of La Näve https://soundcloud.com/lanavemagic?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing, a platform that has been driving organic electronic music in southern Chile since 2015. His work has reached international stages such as Burning Man, Envision, Fusion, Ozora, and Festival Nómade, where his sound continues to weave bridges between cultures, emotions, and landscapes.

This set, titled “Ruka Pucón Electrónica,” is a live recording from one of the region’s most iconic parties: Pukonelectronika https://www.instagram.com/pukonelectronika?igsh=Y2pjMmxrZGtlY2Vt series of events curated and hosted by Nea Ducci https://soundcloud.com/nea-ducci?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing, key figure in the southern Chilean electronic scene.

Unlike our more introspective and slow-tempo podcasts, this episode captures a full live DJ set—from the first beat to the last. Since it was recorded in a festive context, the energy is higher, the BPMs are faster, and the sonic textures move in brighter frequencies—yet the deep atmosphere and immersive vibe we love to explore in Tierra Profunda remain ever present.

We are deeply grateful to collaborate at this crossroads and continue building networks born from a love of music and the Earth.

@xiakes is a Musician/Producer/DJ, founder of @AutumnEquinoxLabel, former shoegaze and noise artist, explorer of uncharted territories, rabbit hole digger. 

His works have been released globally on leading organic downtempo labels, dedicated to spreading downtempo with Eastern elements worldwide, as well as introducing Downtempo to China.

He pioneered the Orientempo style by blending traditional ethnic instruments from across Asia, the noisy undertones of shoegaze, electronic grooves, and emotionally rich analog synthesizers. In his music, you can discover the interplay of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements, whispers of Buddha, shamanic chants, grand song of the Dong ethnic group, nomadic war drums, and the exotic landscapes along the Silk Road.

As a live performer and DJ, he is active in both domestic and international underground electronic music scenes, with performances at numerous clubs, outdoor parties, music festivals, art galleries, and more.
