Bristol-based producer Sean McCabe released his first tracks in 2003 and has since fine-tuned a trademark sound that is effortlessly soulful.

McCabe made his name in house, developing a long-running relationship with legendary US garage label King Street Sounds and remixing the likes of Dennis Ferrer, Evelyn Champagne King, Carolyn Harding, Blaze, and Roland Clark. Since then he’s amassed an impressive discography, delivering inspired productions for labels like Local Talk, Strictly Rhythm, Vega Records, Tribe, and Quantize – plus an original solo album for Z Records.

A quick listen to any of his productions or one of his superb DJ sets will confirm this attractive, emotion-rich aesthetic. While rooted in house, his sound regularly takes on flavours of disco, boogie, Afro, deeper grooves, proto-house, ‘90s garage-house dubs and much more besides.

As an artist, his 2014 debut album entitled ‘It’s Time’ on Z Records displays his musical range and versatile quality production skills. The album hit Number 1 on Traxsource in its first week and has received support from the likes of Solar Radio, Mi-Soul, Kiss FM, and Jazz FM.

As a DJ, he forged a reputation at the legendary Southport Weekender, where he performed regularly. Anyone who can impress the notoriously knowledgeable Southport Weekender crowd must be doing something right. Sean has also travelled the world, playing as far afield as Asia and South Africa, as well as regular appearances across Europe and the UK. Refreshingly, he seems to have no particular aspirations to play in gargantuan clubs, and admits to preferring gigs in small, intimate venues, where he can make a connection with the crowd.

As a producer, McCabe is constantly learning and evolving, taking his sound in different directions. He admits to a love of vintage synthesizers – picked up from listening to classic New York boogie and ‘80s soul. In 2016, Sean continued his musical journey by launching ‘Good Vibrations Music’ record label – a natural evolution of his renowned Good Vibrations events in Bristol.

With a successful album under his belt, his own record label and notable collaborations with the likes of Karizma, Turbojazz, and DJ Spen, his reputation for bringing quality soulful dance music to the masses continues to rise.

A key fixture in the record bags of DJs throughout the past few decades, best known for their unforgettably odd house anthem ‘He Not In’, it’s been some years since Andy Meecham and Dean Meredith last collaborated as Chicken Lips. As such, it’s with no little delight that Phantasy welcomes them back into the fold with one of their most mind-bending tracks yet, accompanied by a remix from a fellow stalwart of the underground, DJ Sotofett.

Trio is the alias name of Kousuke Ishida in 
playing and producing music.
He is also producing the Bocca Grande gives an high value to the 
classical piano mixed with the electronic vibes with 
former piano teacher Yuka Kobayashi.

Since he was sixteen,starting to compose his original tracks and 
playing DJ affected by many sounds of old school.
In addition to this background, putting emphasis on his own 
deepness what accumulated his life in Japanese culture is 
making up all of his sounds.

So on musically sensitivity,his project-Bocca Grande is based on.
The piano sounds,black music and Japanese understatement into 
the melancholia ambience and vibes as important
what it is like weaving occident and orient,
These are the main features of their compositions. 

Trio and BoccaGrande produced their own music and 
remixes for labels like 
Mathematics (Chicago), Four Roses (Germany),Rebirth(Italy), 
Smooth Agent(Chicago),Black Vinyl(UK),Nice and Smooth(Canada), Futic silver (Tokyo). 
The tunes have been getting huge responses since
releasing the one composition of BoccaGrande,"Procedere" in the 1st vinyl 
from Mathematics and it was featured in Mercedes-Benz mixed tape 28.
"Procedere"is also ranked in the second of
Mercedes-Benz mixed tape 01-35,over 350 tunes and 
including in the "Cafe del mar"compilation "Terrace mix".
As for "Intensive Spot EP"from Four Roses,it was played out 
by Motor City Drum Ensemble during his guest slot at 
Tim Sweeney's legendary "Beats in Space" into the radio show in New York.
Jun,2011,1st Album of BoccaGrande "Little Pianist"is released in Rebirth,Italy and 
These tunes are remixed by Morgan Geist, Larry Heard, Morphosis, T-Polar, Menik, 
Jorge Takei, Morning Factory, Artifact, Jermaine Soul, Corrado Bucci and Chromatic Filters.
Re-Play EP is highly-regarded as good deep house tracks in Sound Wall it.

Founded in 1996 by Peter Adarkwah, Barely Breaking Even (BBE Music) started life as a London club night, taking its name from the eponymous Disco record by the Universal Robot Band.

The label grew from the vibrant early 90's club scene with its first release, Stop & Listen compiled by Dr Bob Jones in 1996, opening the door to iconic series' such as All Back To Mine & Late Nite Tales.

A tonne of releases followed, ranging from Disco to Funk, Jazz to House. In the year 2000, the label celebrated Masters at Work's 10th Anniversary with a mighty box set that featured near 80 tracks.

A year later BBE Music spawned the Beat Generation Series of artist albums, notably introducing J Dilla (Welcome 2 Detroit) & a young Will.I.Am's first solo outing, alongside DJ Jazzy Jeff, Madlib & DJ Spinna, all of whom contributed to this seminal set of long players.

A quarter of a century and well over 500 titles later, having worked with Mark Ronson, Roy Ayers, Questlove, Hugh Masekela, DJ Premier, Dimitri from Paris, Joey Negro, Kon, RZA, Laurent Garnier, Black Coffee, DJ Shadow, David Rodigan and John Morales among many others, BBE Music looks to the future, celebrating its rich heritage while continuing to release a bounty of fresh titles.

The label’s most recent projects include an expansive reissue series from pioneering Nigerian label Tabansi, new imprint ‘Batakari’ in association with Boddhi Satva and the critically acclaimed ‘J Jazz’ Japanese Jazz multi-album project, not to mention the recent landmark 500th label release: a brand new version of 'Barely Breaking Even', featuring Leroy Burgess, Patrick Adams and Louie Vega.

In 2021 BBE Music is celebrating its 25th anniversary. To mark this milestone, the label is offering up some special projects, from the 20th Anniversary edition of J Dilla’s ‘Welcome 2 Detroit’, through David Bowie tribute album ‘Modern Love’, to a special new ‘Worldwide’ compilation from old friend Gilles Peterson.
