Founded in early 1998, the goal was to consistently put out records that would be loved and played by many in the house music community. Viva Recordings found success with its first debut from Johnny Fiasco and the with Rick Preston's Altruism EP, which gained notoriety when "Spring Fling" was featured on Mark Farina's San Francisco Sessions Vol.1. From these early releases the road was paved for Viva Recordings' success. Over the last few years we have been working on personal projects but now have decided to bring the label back and take the Viva name back. Mårten Attling, aka Mindbender is a DJ and music producer who has been active in the Stockholm club scene since the late eighties. He is known for his prolific output and has released music on labels such as R&S Records in Belgium, Apollo Records, and his own imprint When Disco Goes Wrong. Mårten has dedicated himself to learning the craft of music production and DJing, and his hard work has paid off with a long and successful career as a producer and musician. In fact, Redbull Music recently listed him as being involved in five of the 15 most influential songs in early Swedish techno & rave. Mårten continues to be an influential figure in the music industry, known for his innovative and forward-thinking approach to production and performance.

He’s the techno punk, the unboxable nomad: Berlin DJ, producer and label owner Alex Ridha, better known as BOYS NOIZE, made his DJ debut at the age of 15, taking a teenager´s love of house and techno to a global scale. Accolades have been bestowed by Rolling Stone, who named him one of the "Top 10 DJ's Who Rule The World" and Beatport, who elected him “Best Electronic Act” 3 years in a row. He´s rocked the world's biggest stages, lit up Coachella three times, took Lollapalooza by storm, and headlined festivals and clubs on every continent – from Berlin techno temple Berghain to Fuji Rock in Japan to Justin Vernon’s Eaux Claires Festival in the woods of Wisconsin.

As an artist and producer, Ridha has created a sound and a vision that’s peerless, uncompromising, and enduring – respected in the scene, banging from underground to mainstream, it flies in the face of convention at every turn. He’s remixed Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, David Lynch, Feist and Nine Inch Nails, collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Erol Alkan, and Jarvis Cocker, worked on Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Special” and on the soundtrack for upcoming Oliver Stone’s Snowden, and released group projects with genius pianist Chilly Gonzales (Octave Minds), Skrillex (Dog Blood), and Mr. Oizo (Handbraekes). The list of names alone speak volumes about Ridha’s multifaceted approach.

Ridha is also the heart of Boysnoize Records, the label that he started back in 2005. Founded originally in order to retain his full artistic freedom while releasing his own music under Boys Noize, The Berlin-based anarchist collective —and it’s sub-label, BNR Trax— became a home for multidirectional quality electronic music and is responsible for more than 150 releases incl. Strictly Raw (2015), Out Of The Black (2012), Power (2009), Oi Oi Oi (2007) and Octave Minds (2014).

Alejandro also known by his artist name Casablanca 303 (2014), is a multi-talented artist from Bogotá based in Oslo. He is a graphic designer and music producer. He also sings, plays guitar, bass guitar and synths.

Casablanca 303 specializes in house and deep house music, in which he incorporates subtle elements from jazz, world music, krautrock, disco and other electronic genres. His unique sound has earned him a reputation as an innovative and exciting artist.

He has proudly released four EPs to date with his own label Cocuy Records (Colombia) and one EP with Mhost Likely (Norway), one of the most exciting and top leading labels in Bergen, thus showcasing his creative vision and passion for music production.

In Colombia, he has played in some of the country's most popular clubs, including Kaputt, Video Club, El Coq, Vlack, Octava, Baum and Armando Records. He has also performed in major festivals such as Estéreo Picnic, Kptl Sound and Storyland.

He had the pleasure sharing stage with Vitalic,The Glimmers, Alexi Delano, Huxley, Groove Armada, Solidisco, Anna, Felix Da Housecat, Christian Smith, Moonboots, Natchbraker, Felipe Gordon.

Now based in Norway, Casablanca 303 is making a name for himself in the local music scene. He has played in popular clubs such as Riksscenen Oslo, The Villa, Dattera til Hagen, Skatten and Cafe Opera, presenting his unique blend of musical influences and captivating audiences with his dynamic dj sets.

As he continues to create and release music, he keeps pushing the boundaries of his genre.

Boblebad, real name Ulf Moen Denneche, is an artist that has the essence of creativity coursing through his very being. An all-round production dynamo, the Oslo-based creator is equally adept at crafting immersive sonic textures as striking visual imagery, expertly functioning as an inspired musical producer as well as a painter and visual artist.

In the spring of 2021, the 37-year-old talent arrived on Beatservice with his label debut – the utterly compelling deep house/meta-disco hybrid, 'Vill Falafel'. His powerfully individual music has also found a home on numerous other highly-respected imprints, including Eskimo, Full Pupp, Paper Recordings, and Aquavit Beat, among others. With a stubbornly eclectic sound signature, Boblebad's genre-defying back-catalogue includes gorgeously emotive Balearic soundscapes, brooding deep house grooves, adventurous journeys into electronica, deviant contemporary disco refinement, and all things between.

On top of his prowess as a studio technician and visual artist, he also plays trombone for a cultured Afrobeat band, as well as in a rousing, jazz-inspired big band. Indeed, his musical roots run incredibly deep, and as a youngster, Ulf cut his performance teeth while playing in a marching band alongside none other than Håkon Vinnogg – better known as the one and only Vinny Villbass.

Dr. Drøy is Martin from Gjøvik, aka. Mjøsa westside. For many years, he conducted vinyl-based doctoral work at various clubs in Trondheim, then, 10 years ago, he got the call to spread the disco gospel in Oslo. With gigs on Dattera Til Hagen, Bortenfor, Sukkerbiten, Storgata26, Parksalongen, Jaeger and various others, he now has close to 20 years of record spinning on his conscience. With a penchant for left-leaning quirky disco, funky protohouse, acrobatic afro, otherworldly italo, everything balearic and other percussive world music, he is not afraid to challenge The Dancer.
