First mix from my private stash of home listening grooves. All the tracks are timeless vocal 'sing-a-long' house tracks that were released in 1991/1992, so there all 30 years old or thereabouts! 

Some of them you will no doubt know, some of them you may not. There are a couple of huge timeless club classics in the mix but I've opted to play the lesser known mixes (mainly because there my favorite versions!) and they've been slightly overshadowed over the years and forgotten about...

Back to Love (Club Class #1)(Lost Gems, Forgotten Remixes & Timeless Classics)

Since 2003 I had the thought of doing an all vinyl 80s club event, all mixed and all danceable. I started to track down all the best mixes and pressings from around the world on 12" as many of the records from the early part of the 80s I only had on 7" at that time.
In lockdown, this fantasy gig happened as a livestream. The feedback was amazing so I finally got the chance to turn it into a live gig at The Underground - Stoke on 19/3/22 and here is the result.

A live recording form the first Back in the Day daytime party, in not so sunny LA, Stoke-on-Trent, and what a day it was!

I tried to capture some of the sounds of Ibiza in days gone by, and the intro is a nod to DJ Alfredo, the originator of the Balearic Beat, who often played the Pink Panther theme when mixing between different genres in the nightclubs of Ibiza in the 1980's and 90's.

2nd Tribute Mix to the infamous and legendary 'Number 1 Club' that resided at Central Street in Manchester (just off Albert Square) and ran between 1986-1993. The tracks were carefully selected and chosen from a list compiled from many original members of the club via the Facebook group 'The No1 Club Manchester (86-93)'

80s Love Affair is a night at Distrikt in Leeds where I make guest appearances throughout the year. 

This is the kind of set I play down there.  If you like your 80s with a dancey edge, come and see us sometime. 

I also played the most part of this set at a party in Las Vegas last year.
