Damascus Underground Session Dec2023 Featuring Maxie König

already in the year of 1994 "Hardy Heller" began to organize events under the registered trademark "Ohral". starting from a successful and thrilling party in his hometown a series of parties has developed. Further events and fargoing strings of events at the most different locations / cities but always carefully chosen with a lot of smartness followed and thus a community has developed that has grown in the course of time and has spread over the original region.

ohral on the one hand is dedicated to working as an organizer of parties and on the other hand works busily as an agency that books artists.

after our artists played quiet often at several radio stations we started from march 2003 on our own radio show named "Groovedelic", which was broadcasted by "Sunshine Live" on weekly base. even today we are having our own radio show named "Ohral On Air" which is now broadcasted live by "Evosonic Radio" every wednesday from 8 - 9 pm (MEZ).

Since the end of 2011 the marketing of our artists and artists who are close to our ohral family respectively belong to our poertfolio under the label name of “ohral recordings” / “ohral b recordings" / "ohral c recordings"

In 2019 we also started our own "Ohral Podcast" -  its about music, dj mixes, interviews, competitions as well as general news from our small but very creative and successful "ohral universe".

Bob VanDer, the creative force behind Damascus Underground, hails from Damascus, Syria.

Since 2005, he has been honing his craft as a DJ, producer and composer.

Renowned for his distinctive style, Bob quickly rose to prominence as one of Damascus's top DJs, securing a residency at one of the city's premier electronic nightclubs. His talent soon led him to headline at major venues across Damascus, earning him respect within the local scene.

In 2015, Bob relocated to Europe to further his musical journey. His exceptional skills garnered attention, landing him performances at prominent events such as AirPley Festival for four consecutive years and various gigs across Germany and Europe.

In 2017, Bob launched his own show, Damascus Underground Session, on Frisky Radio, where he serves as both an artist and radio-show host. Over the past eight years, D.U.S has gained global acclaim, featuring renowned artists from every corner of the world and showcasing diverse talents.

Bob's musical odyssey continues, fueled by his passion for music and a drive for international recognition.
