You know The Unbearable Lightness of Being? Of course you do. So on the one hand everything is alive and is happening only once and because of that life is unbearably light. On the other hand, unbearable does not mean bad, nor is light necessarily synonymous with bad. Moreover, because our life is unrepeatable, every second of it becomes much more important and beautiful. And the same could go with The Unbearable Lightness of Being where everything that happens throughout life… anyway, you get the gist. This past midsummer, at the invitation of Rambalkoshe and Jägermeister, @denis-kaznacheev played here, and trying to describe in words how beautiful everything was is as pointless as trying to weigh the lightness of your being.

In Music and life, Khiz.zihK takes incompatible threads and finds ways to weave them together. For an individual these threads are powerless bits and pieces of a finished product. There are a select few who can take the disjointed pieces and transform them into tapestries, which last only but a moment and are rarely repeated. For the threads alone are useless, but together, they create something invaluable.

Khiz.zihK has been creating experience weaving grooves, sounds and textures together with a focus on energy and movement for over 8 years. His DJ sets are inspired by extended after hours sessions, taking crowds on journeys through genres inspired by 90's house, techno, Ro-minimal, breaks, electro and whatever else fits the puzzle.

This is a live recording of my set at "RHADOO / Beat In Me", held at Vent in Tokyo on 29th November. It’s the opening set on the main floor from 23:00 to 1:00, before Rhadoo’s performance. Please have a listen when you have some time.

• No mastering has been applied.
• The recorder was slightly malfunctioning, and I couldn't properly adjust the input levels during recording. As a result, some tracks have distorted kicks. Thank you for your understanding.
