Named after the signature Larry Heard tune that introduced the world to “Jack,” the track is the latest by DJ/producer/radio host/label head Schneider to pay homage to the Chicago greats, following last spring’s Ron Hardy-inspired “Hey,” which became an instant fave when Anja dropped it at the always in demand Mobilee rooftop parties in Barcelona. Expect the same response in summer 2014, when “Can You Feel It,” and flipsides “Dubmission” and “Revolution,” hit the ears of sun-kissed partiers worldwide.

This journey gets straight to the point with the title alone. Just as approaching prey covered by the darkness of night, the snarling synth slowly lurks closer while the loop of hypnotic tones and pulsing drums keep the mark focused and unwitting of its true motive. Hot off the record press, just in time to ring in the famous mobilee rooftop and pool season, Rodriguez Jr. cranks out a stellar four-track EP. 

Revolving around the beauty of the 133 is "Persistence Of Vision", a groovy and melodic little number wrapped in deep, soulful lyrics, customized to flow through the warm evening open air dance floors of Spain this summer. 

The Re.You remix of this utopian track speeds up the melodies just enough not to take away from the wonderfulness of it all. With some extra kinky sound gadgets sporadically added in, this jam can be worked in into any dancefloor set. 

On the flip side, "Mustang" tears it up with jumping keystrokes and faint background vocals while "Alderbaran" counteracts with cheerful xylophone taps battling with sinister vocal samples, harvesting an uplifting tune.
