Full Moon Frequencies: Ep 1

Introduction and Lyrics in English:

The ghost forest really does exist on the German Baltic coast. Over the centuries, the beech, oak and ash trees have taken on bizarre shapes due to the Baltic wind and the many storms. To me, they look like bent, crooked figures that seem to be on the run from the recurring storms. 
As almost all the trees have only one crown and are completely bare underneath, they also give me the impression that they have shut themselves off from the fury of the storms and withdrawn into themselves.
In my imagination, the storms stand for the inner ghosts or demons that more or less haunt everyone rarely, sometimes often or always at night.  
For me, the trees in turn symbolize the sometimes panic-like fears and the need to flee when the inner ghosts appear.   
At the same time, in my mind the trees also stand for the great achievement of some people who nevertheless live and continue to live under the impression of permanent demonic inner storms: Admittedly somehow crooked, slanted and crooked; but nevertheless in a marvelous way peculiar, unmistakable and original.
This is the background against which the song ""Ghostly Forest"" was created.

Michael son of Michael returns with the third and final instalment in his unintentional Margate trilogy - following in the proud tradition of trilogies like “The Godfather”, “Three Colours”, “Toy Story”, “The Lord of the Rings”, and Bowie’s “Berlin”.
The first EP reflected very loosely on the move to Margate - a UK coastal town once compared (unkindly) to Beirut, now more often compared (still unkindly) to Hackney. The second was shaped by lockdown life and a local community that was either elusive or illusory.
The third? A reluctant sign-off, inspired by the growing trend among nouveau locals to quietly abandon their seaside dream - not quite fleeing, but drifting inland in search of something else. More rural, more urban, or just… different.

After five years in the desert, Geoglyph returns with a new solo album Otherworldly. Recorded on analogue synths, bass guitar, flute, and melodica, and with guest appearances from guitarists Jason Bond and Toby Snowden, this is a warm, proggy album with a handmade feel. Continuing on the path set by Geolinguistic and Messages from the Resonator, each track tells a story with contrasting sections. COME AND HEAR: inscrutable ceremonies in twilit caverns; ancient glyphs carved on stony mesas; impossible structures which defy space and time.

Music has been a part of me since my early years – shaped by diverse influences and a deep love for sound. I attended a music-focused high school and played piano as a child – but it wasn’t until years later that I truly began creating music myself. 

My musical journey started over 15 years ago with mixes and mashups. Later, I began with non-commercial compositions – before taking a long break due to personal and health-related reasons. After that time of silence and reflection, I’m now back – still creating and transforming experience into sound. 

I work across genres and approaches: from fully self-composed tracks to productions using samples and even songs generated with contemporary tools combined with the others – typically with own lyrics to tell personal or meaningful stories, influenced by years of illness and a deep longing for genuine justice.
