Mystic Sound Records series continues with MÖBIUS.

Möbius is a music project by Christian Spudat, who is working as a composer, sound designer and producer since 2004. Born in Germany he started his music career in the creative commons community publishing several releases at various netlabels including Bump Foot from Japan and Phonocake from Germany. In 2016 Möbius released his full-lenght album “Mutatis Mundi” at Mystic Sound Records followed by a new album in 2017, which is in the process of releasing in the moment.
As a sound designer Möbius love to create new sounds and patterns using analog and digital synthesizers in his project studio in Vienna. His music can be described as a mixture of psybient, chillout, psydub, breaks, electro, hard basses and a lot of atmosphere. Thereby he plays with contrasts like ‘harsh and soft’ or ‘fast and slow’ creating a constant development of sounds and rhythms. As a former drummer in various rock bands he is fascinated by patterns and the creation of new grooves and atmospheres by layering different rhythms, notes and harmonies. It is like a Möbius strip with the full twist: Most compositions sound like to start and finish at the same point, but somewhere hop! – and it’s turning over and keeps on winding towards the joining spot. It’s a Möbius strip, you know.

This mix was recorded live on 23-06-2012 4:30-7:30 at Ambiosonic Festival ( le massif des Maures / France)

The name of the festival “AMBIOSONIC” is simply a contraction of AMBIENT (for the style and character), of BIO (for life and ecosystem) and for SONIC (for vibrations and music). This word has not been used for anything in particular and can therefore be taken as original.

For this six edition of this unique festival of Ambient Music, i had a chance to be the first artist to play digital sounds and to play a 3 hours DJ ending by the half a hour of bird sing. Just before the 8am, when other artists continued the marathon of acoustique and digital music. This DJ set is separated in three distinct parts to represent the life cycle of the first night of festival:
- Unity 4:30-5:30
- Sweet dreams 5:30-6:30
- Time to Wake Up 7:30-8:30

Supercozi is a Japanese Electronic music producer / DJ / artist, and is also one half of the Psy-trance unit Zen Lemonade.  Originally hailing from Tokyo, she has been living a digital nomad life for the past 2 decades in UK, Bali and now Cote d'Azur, South of France. 

She has collected a steady following of fans through the years, playing at the festivals and parties from Mexico to Moscow, while releasing over 100 tracks, teaming up with various well-known labels such as Dragonfly, Liquid Sound Design, Iboga, Flying Rhino and Matsuri Digital Chill, just name of few.

V++ is Vladimir Plusov, DJ from Moscow / St. Petersburg. He is a delicate music fan, creator of emotional and gentle ambient, psychill and downtempo mixes.

He is a frequent guest at music festivals across Russia. Trimurti Festival, BK, Skazka Festival, Chill-Air, Chill Out Planet Festival, Teasound — V++ played at all of them.
