Body and Soul 

The trio have been playing jazz in and around Glasgow for the past 10 years.  They’ve played most of the popular jazz venues including the Butterfly and Pig, Dukes Bar, Blackfriars, Wild Cabaret and a residency in Trader Joes where they entertained the pre-theatre crowd.  The band are John McMahon on guitar, Alasdair Vann on bass and Steve Close on drums.  

Patricia Morris is a solo artist who has recently released her third album entitled ‘Of Love, Of Life, Of Men’ – a collection of her own material of varied styles with an emphasis on roots music.  Patricia has fronted various bands both in Glasgow and Ireland and is an accomplished jazz vocalist.  

Our joint project is called Body and Soul and covers the traditional and popular sides of jazz.  We play a mixture of vocal and instrumental material which will appeal to crowds of all ages!
