After production delays in 2021, LDI Records present their fourth release and the debut solo EP from Texan electro producer Terrestrial Access Network - Distant Lands for release this January. The EP is drawn from the artist's shifting and hectic nomadic existence around the rattling expanse of the United States presenting 5 original cerebral electro tracks, backed up with a spooked out remix from Delsin Records’ Versalife aka Conforce.

Based in Austin, Texas, a city famous for its hyper-vibrant creative musical scene, Terrestrial Access Network feeds from the energy of this environment just as much as the desert that surrounds it. His day to day life involves travelling for near constant work projects - spending days and weeks away from home in what is a hectic lifestyle. In the feelings he channels when writing Distant Lands - he is pulled back towards the energy of the serene and calm landscape while on the road dealing with an unsettled nature of life and his profession.

Terrestrial Access Network began releasing music as recently as 2019 with tracks picked up for compilations on Swiss label Dionysian Mysteries. With a sound that is expert at creating powerfully immersive heads down moments for the dancefloor TAN has driven this EP with an ever present and intoxicating mechanical funk.

"With a name like Body Beat Ritual, it's no surprise that this EP takes influence from 80s EBM and industrial. That said, what's impressive about Mortal Sin is the manner in which these sources are interpreted. The title track combines doubled up Chicago thunder claps with tortured vocals and insistent but bleak stabs. "No Mercy" is even more freaked out as the New Zealand act behind the release unleash shrieks and howls over a high-paced electronic groove. On "Body Politics", the approach is more muted and it's here that they impress most. Over a throbbing, oppressive rhythm and acidic sequences, a defiant vocal creates the kind of tension that many contemporary ebm acts strive for but rarely attain."
