The BogoRecs team is back! With the same spice and love, we're glad to present u all the first of a series of releases we have already wrapped up for this year! The first: Native Boundaries head honcho, Lucid Distraction, directly from Los Angeles, hits the Bogoture Recs HQ with his EP, Ridin', surprisingly good, first class electro, breakbeat, junglist bombs that blew our minds, our monitors and our hearts and that's for sure.

The EP comes in a very fresh and sturdy presentation of 3 original tracks + 3 remixes from Mister Sticktalk, Trópico Frío (Bogoture's head honcho) and User Delusion, ready to corrupt any wild hearted, with amazing rave tools that would very possibly, suit ur biohazard dancefloor expectations!

The release gathers 3 original tracks with pretty potent and fully-sharpened electro/breakbeat/jungle classic sound, with incredible layers, mix, color and warmth, resulting in highly dynamic gems from dancefloor breakers to deeply refined mental journeys into the sweetness of the oldschool lofi sound.

It's always lovely to be back, and much more exciting with such amazing music from such wonderful artists & friends. We''ll keep the boat floating, or maybe we will rip apart the waves as Nautilus does, who knows? The only thing we knoe is we do it because we love it. For creation, for music, for imagination, for magic within our hearts in a world that sometimes goes too fast! Let's keep the motor Rrrumbling!

[BOG08] Lucid Distraction - Ridin' EP [SNIPPETS]

Lucid Distraction has long developed a passion for electronic music coming from the UK, Chicago, Detroit, and Berlin areas. As a DJ since 2011, he has developed an ear for a very dynamic sound, ever evolving, but still staying true to it’s roots. 

Far from the traditional his style can be characterized as a progressive take on the electro, house, break, ghetto tech, and other genres incorporating driving baselines along with acidic synths and grooving drums. He does not feel tied to just one genre. Lucid can be a bit of a wildcard and jack of all trades with unique and vast vibes surfacing in his releases. 

Deciding to branch out and start realizing his own productions in 2019, he has strayed far from the traditional and 2024 seems to be finding him placement on forward thinking labels throughout the world. He has also started his own electronic music collective, party, and mix series based in Downtown Los Angeles called Native Boundaries.

He has spun legendary LA staples such as Sound Nighclub, The Viper Room, Pattern Bar, Lokels Only, and many more as well as been signed to international labels like Steve Bug's Berlin based Sublease Music, Portugal based Ovelha Trax, Columbia based Bogoture, London based Hyperdome and more.

Hi everyone, I am Gavin Kwok a Hong Kong based composer.

This Soundcloud functions as a time capsule which records most of my past works. I started learning instrument in my early teenage time and I started composing midi pieces since 2013.
