Directly from Poland, Gimela arrives with an outstanding release, just to make all those raveheads cry of joy, because this is just an exquisite, delightful insight into the pure late 90's - early 2000's rave, techno-trance sound with all the juicyness and hotness!!

Clean, elegant, but bouncy and fat, with anthem-like synth leads, every track delivers without mercy and all the cleverness, a very well wrapped up sound & style, very dynamic and very fresh!

The release comes with cherry on top! A latin, guaracha, ghetto infused "Uwu Remix" of ''Bouty Bounce'' by the one and only, Aleroj (from Bogotá, Colombia), long time friend and one of the many broskis from BogoRecs fam! Just pure gasoline and flavor to make u sweat!

Benfika nos presenta su más reciente EP, 'Poco Centro', una amalgama sonora que entrelaza los sonidos de la música electrónica global de club contemporánea con la rica diversidad musical de América Latina.

Con "Poco Centro", Benfika demuestra su destreza al fusionar una amplia gama de influencias musicales, desdibujando los límites entre géneros. Cada track es una exploración de texturas y ritmos, con capas de sintetizadores digitales, samples de voces de reggaeton y melodías etéreas que evocan el trance de los años 90, ofreciendo así un enfoque emocional del latin club.

La mitad del EP está diseñada para hacerte bailar,y perderte en la música. La otra mitad te lleva en un viaje introspectivo y emocional. A pesar de estas diferencias, ambas partes comparten un universo sonoro único, gracias al cuidadoso diseño de sonido y la selección diversa de elementos musicales, lo que refleja la noción de una esencia descentralizada. Un universo que explora el concepto de unidad y equidad entre el núcleo y el conjunto.

Además, "Poco Centro" presenta una impresionante selección de remixes realizados por algunos de lxs productores más destacados de la escena electrónica latinoamericana y global, incluyendo a Florentino (UK), Loris (MX), SEWA (USA), DJ Deep RH (Venezuela) y DJ Babatr (Venezuela).

‘... is serving’ no. 5 delivers an eclectic three-track Ballroom blowout. Merging throbbing techno rumbles with frenzied Latin undercurrents, Jaymie Silk’s ‘For the People’ unleashes an idiosyncratic bouquet of percussive Fast House alongside a stripped Techno rendition by Bogota’s Confidential Recipe.
‘For the People’ is a track built for the night’s energetic apex: Cycling through crushing bars of stripped rumble and frenetic Djembe lines, Jaymie encapsulates the feverish energies of his Ballroom background in a percussion-driven anthem centred around a soulful vocal burning with desire.

Confidential Recipe’s technoid rendition strips ‘For the People’ to its pulsing core. A morphing layer of metallic resonance and compact drums channel the original’s exuberance into an eerily vibrating and brutally efficient big-room weapon.

Merging mangled Techno drums with Samba-inspired whistles and woodwinds, ‘Feel that Ass’ unfolds a raw and unapologetic firestorm of Latin percussion, scorching drum work, and seductive vocal chops.

Both DJs have graced our booth with their high-energy sets in the past – now, Jaymie Silk and Confidential Recipe return to deliver a genre-defying vision of unbounded physicality. A fierce embodiment of undiluted Ballroom energy is served.

Suburban Jungle Rave is the third EP produced by DJ and Producer Mtn9090, which will be released on August 15 2024 by Trinka BR from Porto Alegre/Brazil. 

In a context where the city is a map defined by labor relations, uncertainty becomes an evil addiction while the rave party the only moment of liberation from the capitalist clock. Through 6 tracks, the EP translates part of the artist's experience, uniting elements of urban daily life, the metropolitan spirit and broken drums of the classic jungle tracks of the 90s.
