I primarily play trumpet and piano (Grade 8 in both). I can also sing backing vocals, and I am learning alto sax. I can also play flugelhorn, melodica and a bit of bass guitar. Usually in a band situation I play keys rather than piano. I'm versatile and can play a range of styles. I'm one half of Underneath the Lookout - writing and recording with Common Sense Kid.

Previously I was part of York ska/punk/reggae band Copasetics and I played trumpet/keys with Andy B and the World. Recording experience: Magnificent Seven, Sunset Stereo, Joel Boon, Matt Heming, Deadbeat at Dawn and Crimson. 

Up for collabs and session work.

Recerntly: scored the feature Day Of The Stranger (2020), and previously a silent cut of Bella In The Wych Elm (2016) both by Carnie Film Production 
I am a self styled "crusty composer", scintillating songwriter, lucid lyricist, pompous producer, magnanimous multi-instrumentalist. All round musical fidget! 
My big productions such as Quiver, Dali and A Season Dissolved ebb with a glow of occasion and melodrama!  
THE RETINAL CIRCUS is what I drop most releases under.
Also make electronic music under the name Dimitri & The Godhead and am in comedy punk outfit, Shambollix
