Magda is amongst the most high-profile and in demand artists, having proven herself as a consistent, adventurous and exceptional performer, with a knack for bringing music together in unexpected ways.
Magda's realm as an artist pans far beyond the typical role of DJ and producer. With an open mind, Magda will try her hand at whatever feels right – from music technology collaborations and events to producing premium Tequila - creating a truly unique, multifaceted expression of herself.
Born in Poland and raised in Detroit, Magda discovered beauty and inspiration in Detroit’s raw urban landscape. In 1998, she joined the Minus label and began touring as Richie Hawtin's main DJ.
Since her first international tour in 2003, Magda established herself globally as an artist known for pushing musical boundaries and expressing her unique style. She released her forward-thinking DJ mix album 'She's A Dancing Machine' in 2006, followed by her debut artist album ‘From The Fallen Page’ in 2010 among other single releases. Magda’s remix work includes Plastikman and Depeche Mode and DJ mix albums for Fabric, Balance, as well as a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, among others.
In 2006, Magda established the Items & Things label and booking agency with Troy Pierce and Marc Houle.
In 2017, she launched the Perm event series in Berlin. Sitting pretty at the crossroads between art and club culture, Perm was a collective initiated by Magda and established in the name of artistic cross-pollination with a very strong multimedia aesthetic. Guests included Atom TM, Burnt Friedman, Jan Jelinek, and Cristian Vogel.
Recently, Magda has produced and performed alongside T.B. Arthur as Blotter Trax. The Blotter Trax live show combines modular synthesis, live improvisation and rhythmic exploration. Performance highlights have included live audio- visual duets with video artist Lillevan (Morton Subotnick, Christian Fennesz) and a recent club tour of Japan which saw the duo performing live and transitioning into Magda’s signature DJ sets.

Dirk C., besser bekannt als DJ High Crime, entdeckte im Jahr 1990 seine Leidenschaft für die elektronische Musik. Inspiriert durch Bands wie Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk oder Front 242 begann er Anfang der 90er seine Laufbahn als DJ im Liberty/ Völklingen und im Skyline/ Saarlouis. 1993 schaffte Dirk die nächste Stufe seiner jungen Karriere als Resident - DJ im Club Zone-13 in Völklingen und diversen anderen Clubs. In dieser Zeit legte er auch mit namhaften DJ´s wie Andy Düx, Pascal Feos, Talla-2XLC, Chris Liebing, Ellen Alien und Taucher und vielen weiteren auf. Es folgten deutschlandweite Gigs in den angesagtesten Clubs wie dem Dorian Gray in Frankfurt, dem Pulverturm in München, im Tunnel in Hamburg sowie im Palazzo in Bingen; aber auch Großveranstaltungen im Raum Saarbrücken (Industrial Raves, Space Partys…). 1995 veröffentlichte High Crime mit „Soylent“ seine erste Platte auf Championsound.
Danach produzierte er zusammen mit Christian C. besser bekannt als CAT-1 einige Acid Tracks bei Andy Düx´ Label Overdrive (- eine Doppelproduktion limitiert auf 10“ und 12“ Vinyl).
Die absolute Spezialität von High Crime ist das Auflegen mit drei MK-II´s - so entstanden außergewöhnliche Techno-Mixes.
2010 starten High Crime und CAT-1 mit frischen Ideen und neuen Studioproduktionen durch. Selbstverständlich wird High Crime auch wieder live an den Decks sein Publikum mit seinen Mixes begeistern und die Tanzfläche rocken!
