A little mix for risik. She was pretty awesome. So I just put my feelings into this while I was feeling like shit. So here's a lesson kids. When you feel bad, make stuff. It helps. You'll feel a lot less bad about yourself at the end of it.

It's funny, I thought to make a feel better mix, I had to go out all guns-in-the-air cheesy feel-goodness. But that just didn't seem to work. Eventually, I fell back on what I knew and felt at the moment. And that somehow...works, for me. Mixing is for the audience, it's about the crowd, but for once I let what's in my head reign (though it is very mellow), and I liked the end product, I hope you do too. The greeks called it katharsis, the purification of a feeling through an overload of the very input. I.e. I felt sad so i pumped as much sad as I could and then I didn't. Pretty awesome thing. Greeks sure knew some stuff.

(It spends a lot of time on Chicago and When I Was Done Dying because...that's primarily what motivates this mix. Once again, hope you guys enjoy!)
